El Marques is on the southwest
coast of Tenerife in a sun-trapped bay just a ten-minute walk uphill
from the hustle and bustle of Los Gigantes. The resort has the charm
and intimacy of a traditional Spanish village with white-washed,
red- roof units situated in tiers on a hillside. This resort may not
be suitable for those with walking difficulties due to the number of
steps.

BY AIR: Nearest
airport: Reina Sofia - Tenerife Sur- 44 Kms; BY ROAD: From the
airport, follow signs to Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas and
Adeje. At the roundabout, go left, following signs for Los Gigantes
- TF47. Go through Armenime, pass Playa San Juan and through Alcala,
continuing to follow the TF47 signs. At the end of the TF47, turn
left to Los Gigantes (TF1481). Follow the road down the hill for
about 1km. At the roundabout, go across towards Puerto de Santiago.
At the mini- roundabout, turn right and right again at the El
Marques sign. The reception is on the left-hand side. There is an
airport in the North - Los Rodeos - 110km.

All have double/twin sofa-beds. All units have a full kitchen with
an oven, four hob rings, microwave, washing machine, kettle,
toaster, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, satellite television.
The units DO NOT have phones. Towels are changed once a week and
maid service is once a week. The 1br 'S'/'Y' units are on the ground
floor and accessible via a few steps and do not have balconies or
views and are ideally suitable for two people. The 2br 'M' units and
units 81d, 82d 85d, 86d, 89d, 90d, 93d94d have no view. The resort
cannot upgrade to a larger unit upon arrival. The unit allocation is
as per the confirmation. The maximum occupancy of the unit cannot be
exceeded (adults and children count alike). NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.
There is no lift available on-site. There is heavy construction work
in the vicinity of the resort. Units 76d, 70d, 64d, 58d, 52e,
46e40e, 34e, 28e, 22e, 89d, 93d, 81d, 85d are on the ground floor
but accessible via a few steps. Units 143d and 147d are via no
steps. AT LEAST ONE MEMBER IN THE PARTY MUST BE OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE
THERE IS HEAVY CONSTRUCTION WORK IN THE VICINITY
OF THE RESORT WHICH IS CAUSING NOISE AND DUST WHICH COULD AFFECT
MEMBERS WHILST ON HOLIDAY. UNITS MOST AFFECTED ARE 21M, 27M, 33M,
39, 45, 51M, 59D, 61D, 65D, 67D, 71D, 73D, 77D, 79D, 23E, 25E, 29E,
31E, 35E, 37E, 41E, 43E, 47E, 49E, 53E, 55E.
ONE BEDROOMED UNITS
WITH 'S' O 'Y' ARE GROUND FLOOR UNITS ACCESSED VIA A FEW STEPS.
THESE UNITS DO NOT HAVE BALCONIES AND DO NOT HAVE VIEWS. THEY ARE
IDEALLY SUITED FOR TWO PEOPLE. TWO BEDROOMED UNITS WITH 'M' HAVE A
SHOWER ROOM ONLY AND DO NOT HAVE ANY VIEWS. UNITS ARE NOT CHANGED ON
ARRIVAL.
